What kind of server do I need to run Camfrog Web?
The application itself runs on a Windows 2000 or 2003 server but the web page can be on any OS, for example a Linux server. Your users will go to a web page hosted on your Linux server and they will then be prompted for an ActiveX control that will connect to your Windows server. You can also run everything from a Windows server if you choose to do so. Hosting for a simple Windows 2003 server is around $100 at servermatrix.com or ev1servers.net.

Can I kick or ban users from my room?
Yes. You can make a list of moderators who control the room and they can kick and ban users along with many other features.
What are the Camfrog Web system requirements for website visitors?
Your visitors must have Windows 2000 or XP with Internet Explorer on a multimedia PC that has a 233Mhz or faster processor. No webcam is required to see people.
Can this be used for business or distance education?
Camfrog Web works great for both. Your users will just go to a web page and load an Active X control to begin instantly videoconferencing.
How secure is Camfrog Web?
Camfrog Web is encrypted so you can make sure your meeting is private. You can also password protect the web page and password protect your room.
Can I add ad banners to my video chat room?
Yes you can. Just put your ad banner above the room inside the web page and your visitors will see it.
Does Camfrog Web allow skins?
Camfrog Web Advanced version allows skins so you can make the video chat match your website exactly. We can create a custom one for you for a fee, or you can create your own if it meets our specifications.
If I buy the 25 user version of Camfrog Web Advanced can I upgrade later?
Yes you can, just contact our sales team and pay the difference.
